2、ia,anditismainlyexpressedinneuronsrangingfromsmalltomediumdiameter.Strongevidenceshowsthat,P2X3purinoceptorsubtypeiscloselyrelatedtothenocieeptionofprimarysensoryneurons.Inthepresentstudy,threegroupsofrattrigeminalganglionneuronsareclassifiedinaccordingtotheirdiameters:small(<30pro)(52.
3、62.85%,583/1108)、medium(30肛m-40ttm)(35.84%,397/1108)andlarge(>40pm)neurons(11.54%,128/1108).IthasbeenobservedinthisexperimentusingwholecellpatchclamptechniquethatextracelinlarlyappliedATPeauinducecurrentsintherattrigeminalgan甜ionneurons,mostofwhichareinward.currents(53.6%,15/28)andother
4、sareoutward.(7.1%.2t28)orbiphasic—currents(3.6%,1/28).ThereisacertaincorrelationbetweenthediameteroftheneuronsandthetwokindsofdesensitizationforATP-inducedinward-currents:smalldiameterneuronshaverapid-desensitizatingcurrents,andmediumdiameterneuronshaveslow—desensitizatingcurrents.ItPag
