3、AllofusknowthatthelongEnglishsentencescanbeeasilyunderstoodbythepeoplewhocomefromtheEnglishspeakingcountries,butitisdifficultfortheChinesetotranslatethemwellintoChinese.ProperlongEnglishsentencetranslationcanestablishagoodfoundationforthetranslationofatextanditistheessentialq
4、ualificationofatranslator.Nowadays,allthetextbooksontheE-CtranslationsupplysomevaluabledirectionsforlongEnglishsentencetranslation.Ontheonehand,thesedirectionsareintroductoryandlimitedtoafewbasicgeneralmethods.Suchas:sequentialtranslation,reversetranslation,splittranslation,w
5、hichareincompleteandnon-thorough.Butthesemethodsplayvaluableinstructiveroles.Ontheotherhand,thetranslatorempathizesthefaithfulnesstothecontentoftheoriginal,butfailstoseethetexttypes,originalstyleandsomeimportantaspectsrelatedtothelongEnglishsentencetranslation.Thetranslationo
