3、ammar(SFG)theory.Itisoneofthemaintasksofcriticallinguisticstorevealtherelationshipbetweenideologyandlanguage,withappropriatelinguisticstheoryanalyzingpublicdiscourse.Hallidaycalleditas"autonomouslinguistics"whichisoutside"instrumentallinguistics”.Itsstatushasuniversallyacknowl
4、edgedbylinguisticsschools.TheresearchofcontemporaryCriticalDiscourseAnalysiswasdevelopedinthelate1970sfromCriticalLinguistics,whichwasmainlycreatedbyBritainandAustralia.In1991,theterm"criticallinguistic"wascompiledintoCrystal’sDictionaryofLinguisticsandPhonetics,anditwasexplai
5、nedindetailbyMalmkjaerinLinguisticsEncyclopedia.Atpresent,moreandmorescholarsareapplyingCDAtostudynewsreports,especiallypoliticalnewsreports,forexample,KouJie’sCriticalDiscourseAnalysisofPoliticalNewsReportsinAmericanandBritishNewspapersandHilaryJanks’sCriticalDiscourseAnalysi
