3、anguagedeterminism”,andHalliday’sSystemic-FunctionalGrammar(SFG)theory.Itisoneofthemaintasksofcriticallinguisticstorevealtherelationshipbetweenideologyandlanguage,withappropriatelinguisticstheoryanalyzingpublicdiscourse.Hallidaycalleditas"autonomousl
4、inguistics"whichisoutside"instrumentallinguistics”.Itsstatushasuniversallyacknowledgedbylinguisticsschools.TheresearchofcontemporaryCriticalDiscourseAnalysiswasdevelopedinthelate1970sfromCriticalLinguistics,whichwasmainlycreatedbyBritainandAustralia.
5、In1991,theterm"criticallinguistic"wascompiledintoCrystal’sDictionaryofLinguisticsandPhonetics,anditwasexplainedindetailbyMalmkjaerinLinguisticsEncyclopedia.Atpresent,moreandmorescholarsareapplyingCDAtostudynewsreports,especiallypoliticalnewsreports,f
