7、tural;1873年，欧洲首届国际东方学大会在巴黎召开，这是对法国从雷慕萨到儒连汉学成就的肯定，作为大学体制内的汉学发展，法国的首创之功受到欧洲东方学界的尊重是很自然的。1874年，第二届国际东方学大会在英国召开，理雅各(JamesLegge,1815—1897年)回到了英国，这次会议在欧洲东方学史上具有重要的意义。“伦敦大会的召开，标志着东方学、比较科学以及汉学研究的火炬,已经从欧洲大陆传递到英国。汉学研宂的一段进程，也可以说从儒连时代，进入理雅各时代。理雅各最终返回英国是1873年，也是伟大的
