5、fJamesLegge‘stranslationofTheAnalectsOfConfucius.Thefocusesareonthetranslationskillsandthetranslationstrategies.Accordingtoconventionoftranslation,thedomesticationstrategywassupposedtobeadoptedfortheEnglishtranslationofTheAnalectsOfConfuciusinthelateQingDynasty.However,JamesLeggea
6、doptedtheforeignizationstrategyinstead.Thisthesismakesathoroughstudyontheissue.Inthelast20yearsinChina,thestudyonthetranslationofTheAnalectsOfConfuciushasbeenon:versions(onsingleversionsorondifferentversions),translators,publishers‘comments,circulation,keywords,andetc.Amongthem,ve
7、rsionshaveeverbeenfocused.Theyhavebeenfrequentlycomparedorcontrastedfollowingthemodeof―comparisonorcontrast----analysis----conclusion‖.Providedonsingleversions,acomparativestudywouldbeconductedbetweentheoriginaltextandthetranslatedtext.Asfordifferentversions,acomparativestudybetwe
