5、l1.INTRODUCTIONBecausecompleteinformationaboutadynamicalsystemanditsenvironmentareneveravail-able,thesystemandexcitationcannotbemodelledexactly.Classicalcontroldesignmethodsbasedonasinglenominalmodelofthesystemmayfailtocreateacontrolsystemthatpro-videssatisfactoryperformance.Robustcontrolmethods(

6、e.g.H2,H∞and-synthesis,etc.)werethereforeproposedsothattheoptimalcontrollercanproviderobustperformanceandstabilityforasetof‘possible’modelsofthesystem[1;2].Inaprobabilisticrobustcontrolapproach,anadditional‘dimension’isintroducedbyusingprobabilisticdescriptionsofallthepossiblemodelswhenselecting
