2、engTong,YanjunLiu,andTieshanLiAbstract—Inthispaper,anadaptivefuzzyrobustoutputcontrolapproaches,bydesigningdifferentstateobservers,feedbackcontrolproblemisconsideredforaclassofsingle-[10]-[15]investigatedadaptivefuzzyorneuralbacksteppinginputandsingle-output(SISO)nonlinearsystemsinstr
3、ict-outputfeedbackcontrolforuncertainnonlinearsystemsinfeedbackform.Theconsideredsystemspossesstheunstructuredstrict-feedbackform.Amongthem,[10]-[12]areforSISOuncertainties,unknowndead-zone,thedynamicsuncertaintiesandwithoutassumingthestatesbeingavailableforthecontrolleruncertainnonli
4、nearsystems,[13]foruncertainMIMOnon-design.Inthecontrollerdesign,fuzzylogicsystemsarefirstusedlinearsystems,while[14]-[15]foruncertainnonlinearlarge-toapproximatetheunstructureduncertainties,andutilizingthescalesystems.Themainfeaturesoftheaboveadaptivecontrolinformationoftheboundsofthe
5、dead-zoneslopesandtreatingapproachesareasfollows:(i)theycanbeusedtodealthetime-varyinginputscoefficientsasasystemuncertainty,awiththosenonlinearsystemswithoutsatisfyingthematchingfuzzystateobserverisdesignedtoestimatetheunmeasuredstates.Bycombiningbacksteppingtechniquewithanonlinearcon
6、dition,and(ii)theydonotrequiretheunknownnonlinearsmall-gainapproach,anewadaptivefuzzyrobustoutputfeed-functionsarelinearlyparameterized,thefuzzylogicsystemsbackcontrolhasbeendeveloped.Itisprovedthattheproposedorneuralnetworksareutilizedtoapproximatetheunknownfuzzyadaptivecontrolapproa
7、chcanguaranteethesemi-globalfunctionsinstead.Therefore,sofar,theapproximation-baseduniformultimateboundedness(SUUB)forallthesolutionsofadaptivefuzzyandNNbacksteppingcontrolbecomesonetheclosed-loopsystems.Simulationstudiesandcomparisonswithpreviousmethodsareincludedtoillustratetheeffec
