2、weentwolanguages.Comprehensionofthesourcetextisanimportantpartininterpreting.Schematheoryisusedtodealwithcomprehensionproblemsandtheroleofschematicknowledgeintheprocessofcomprehension.Asaresult,theauthorattemptstoapplyschematheorytointerpretingandstudytheirrelations.Keywords:schemaschematheoryin

3、terpretingI.IntroductionItisknownthatinterpretingasayoungprofessionhasreceivedalotofinterestintheacademicworld.However,therearestillalotofthingswhichcanbedoneinthisfield.Afterreadingsomerelevantmaterials,theauthorfindsthatmostofthecurrentandpreviousresearchesoninterpretingmainlyfocusonthetechniq

4、uesandskill-trainingofinterpreting,orthefinalproductofinterpreting.Itismorelikelythatpeoplepayattentiontowhattheinterpreterinterpretsthanhowtheinterpreterdecideshis/herinterpretation.Theprocessofinterpreting,orwhatreallyhappensintheprocessofinterpretingistosomeextentignored.Thestudyofhowknowledg

5、eisactivatedandappliedintheprocessofinterpretingisscarce,letaloneapplyingtheschematheorytosuchstudy.Inthispaper,itisthegoaloftheauthortomakesomeresearchoninterpretinginlightofschematheory.Asweknow,schematheoryisapowerfultheorydealingwiththecomprehensionproblemsintheESL/EFL(EnglishasaForeignLangu

6、age/EnglishasaSecondLanguage)readingandlisteningprocess;whileinterpretingisacomplexprocessinwhichlistening,comprehension,reconstructingandspeakingareinvolved.Sincethereexistsomerelatedpoints,theauthorofthispaperwouldliketostudytheprocessofinterpretingfromtheangleofschematheory.Inthepresentstudy,
