4、febyinvolvingscienceandtechnologyintoit.Modernismbroughtaboutareforminallspheresoflifeincludingphilosophy,commerce,artandliterature,withtheaidoftechnologyandexperimentation.Itledtoprogressinalltheaspectsoflifebychangingtheapproachofmankindoflookingatthem.Postmodernismmeans,'afterthem
5、odern'.ItwasareactiontomodernismandwasinfluencedbythedisenchantmentbroughtaboutbytheSecondWorldWar.Postmodernismreferstothestatethatlacksacentralhierarchyandonethatiscomplex,ambiguousanddiverse.Thedevelopmentsinsociety,theeconomyandthecultureofthe1960swereimpactedbypostmodernism.Mode
6、rnismVs.PostmodernismModernismbeganinthe1890sandlastedtillabout1945.PostmodernismbeganaftertheSecondWorldWar,especiallyafter1968.Modernismwasbasedonusingrational,logicalmeanstogainknowledgewhilepostmodernismdeniedtheapplicationoflogicalthinking.Rather,thethinkingduringthepostmoderner
