2、proved.Lookingaheadtothefourthquarter,theglobaleconomyisexpectedtocontinueamodestrecovery.Fromtheglobalpurchasingmanagers1index,theglobaleconomycontinuedtomaintainabetterperformanceinthethirdquarter,bothinservicesandmanufacturing.ThepreliminaryestimateisthatglobalGDPwillgrowatan
3、annualizedrateofabout3.2percentinthethirdquarterof2017.Year-on-yeargrowthwasabout3.0%,up0.1percentagepointsfromthepreviousquarte匚Lookingaheadtothefourthquarter,theglobaleconomyisexpectedtocontinueamodestrecovery,withayear-on-yeargrowthrateof3.1percent.Thedevelopmentoftheissue:Si
4、ncethesecondhalfof2016,theglobaleconomyhasgraduallyshakenoffthetrendthathasbeenrunningatalowspeedforsixyears.Drivenbydomesticdemand,theU.S.economygrewby3percentinthesecondquarterof2017.TheU.S.economyislikelytoslowinthethirdquarterasaresultofthestorm.Theeurozone'seconomicrecovery
5、hasbeenstableandsustainedimprovementinbusinessandconsumerconfidencehasprovidedastrongimpetusforeconomicgrowth.Britishpricesroseby2.9percentinAugust,morethanthebankofEnglandstargetof2percent,asaresultofasignificantdepreciationofthepoundsincethevotetoleavetheEU.Thankstotherapideco
6、nomicgrowth,Canada,Australia,NewZealandandothercountrieshaveseenhousingpricesrisetoofast.Developedeconomieshavewarmedup,emergingeconomieshavemaintainedagrowthrateofaround5%,andglobaltradeandinvestmenthaveimproved.EffectsontheeconomyoftheissueGlobalmonetarypolicydivergedastheecon
