4、(34.8%)(P<0.0001).Amongpurebreds,thepositivitiesintheNorwegianforestcat(92.3%)andScottishfold(77.6%)weresignificantlyhigherthantheaverageofpurebreds(P=0.0274and0.0251,respectively).Thepositivitywassignificantlyhigherinmales(51.5%)thaninfemales(35.7%)(P<0.0001),whereasnogenderdifferencehasgenerally
5、beennotedinFCoVantibodyprevalence,indicatingthatFIPmorefrequentlydevelopsinmalesamongFCoV-infectedcats.Genotypingwasperformedfor377gene-positivespecimens.TypeI(83.3%)wasfarmorepredominantlydetectedthantypeII(10.6%)(P<0.0001),similartopreviousserologicalandgeneticsurveys.KEYWORDS:domesticcat,effusi
