1、AbstractThestrategyalwaysneedresourcestomakeitselfbeimplemented，whateverexcellenttheaimsofstrategyareplanned,thestrategywouldn’tproducegreatefficiency,Ifthedesignersdon'thaveenoughresourcestoputforwardthestrategy.TheresourcecrunchisoneofthemostimportantproblemsfacedbyU.S.Aintheaftermathofthefinan

2、cialcrisis.ThisthesisfocusesontwoimportantissuesoftheUnitedStatesintheformulationandimplementationofthestrategyafterthefinancialcrisis:oneisrelativelylessresources;theotheristhatAmericaismakingimportantstrategicadjustmenttoreturntoAsia,thatisAsiaPacificre-balancingstrategy.Thus,thisthesisaimstodi

3、scusswhetherAmericacouldachievestrategicadjustmentsuccessfullyundertheconditionsofthedefensebudgetcrunch.FacingtheincreasingimportanceofAsia-pacificregion,especiallyChina’sstrongrise,Americathusputforward“AsiaPacificre-balancingstrategy”sothatitcouldbeengagedintotheaffairsofthisregion,evendominat

4、etheeconomy,politicsandsecurityofAsia-pacificregion,andcontainChinasothatmaintainitsgloballeadership,concerningtheeffectsofeconomy,politicsandstrategy.Butafter2010,Americacontinuestocutthedefensebudget,andAmericastrategiccontractionintheglobalisobvious,thus,commentsonwhetherthe“AsiaPacificre-bala
