5、nfectedwithHCVandthenormalsubjects.METHODS：Atotalof150bloodserumsampleswereob-tainedfrom75patientsinfectedwithHCVand75normalsubjects(age:l・70yearsold).TheproportionofsexandagebetweentheHCVinfectedpatientsandthenormalsub jectswerealmostidentical.TheserumapoAandapoAweremeasuredus
6、ing7070chemistryanalyzerandchemi calpreparationsmadeinJapan.AndthediffereneeoftheapoAandapoAbetweentheHCVinfectedpatientsandthenormalsubjectswerefurtheranalyzedwithstatistics.RESULTS：Inthepatients,themeanconcentrationofapoAwas113.0mg/dl,andapoAz22.5mg/dl;andinthenormalsubjects,
7、themeanconcentrationofapoAwas124.2mg/dlzandapoA,24.9mg/dl.TheconcentrationofapoAandapoAinthepatientsinfectedwithHCVwassignificantlylowerthanthatofnormalsubjects(P<0.05).CONCLUSION：ThelevelsofapoAandapoAaresig-nificantlylowerinpatientsinfectedwithHCVthanthatofnormalsubjects.Inpa
