3、atus,thebilateralcarotidarteriesweredetectedwiththeuseofaHP5500colordopplerultrasonographyboth130patientsand60subjectsofnormal-controlgroup.Results:IngroupA,thecarotidarteriesIMTwas0.605mm±0.152mm.CarotidIMTincreasedwithage.IngroupB,theoccurrencerateofcarotidatherosclerosisplaquesinmalegroupwashi
4、gherthanfemalegroup(P<0.05);Mostplaquewasflattype,somewassoftplaqueandhardplaque,fewwasulcerplaque,thecarotidatherosclerosisplaqueswerecommoninthebifurcation.IngroupC,theoccurrencerateofcarotidatherosclerosisplaquesinmalegroupwashigherthanfemalegroup(P<0.05);Mostplaquewashardtype,somewasflatplaqu
