6、hisfootonthegroundforeighteenmonths.DuringthisperiodhewroteCAESARANDCLEOPATRA(1901)andTHEPERFECTWAGNERITE(1898).TheNorwegianplaywrightHenrikIbsenhadagreatinfluenceonShaw'sthinking.ForasummermeetingoftheFabianSocietyin1890,hewroteTHEQUINTESSENCEOFIBSENISM(1891),inwhichheconsideredIbsenapioneer
