3、rcesindoors.EvidencefromavarietytounderstandthephenomenonofVOCsorptiononbuildingofinvestigationsandsystematicstudiessuggeststhatbuildingmaterialsbetterandtodirectfutureresearch.Wefoundthatmaterialscanalsoaffectthetransportandtheremovalofexistingsorptionmodelscanbegenerallyclassifiedintoeither

4、indoorVOCsbysorptionanddesorption.There-emissionoffirstorderadsorption/desorptionratemodelsorequilibrium-sorbedVOCscandramaticallyelevateVOCconcentrationsininterfacemodels.Theadsorption/desorptionratemodelsaretheindoorenvironmentformonthsoryearsafterasourcesimpleandeasytouse,butthemodelparame

5、tershavetobeevent(Tichenoretal.1988;Berglundetal.1988;Sparksetal.obtainedfromexperimentaldatabycurvefitting.Theparam-1994).Materialscapableofdepositing,adsorbing,and/oretersoftheequilibrium-interfacemodelscanbeobtainedthroughindependentmeasurements,butlackingmaterialaccumulatingpollutantscani
