3、nts,whichisdefinedasthenumberofbordersaproductcrossesinasupplychain;thisprocesswillaffectthespatialaccountingofthecarbonemissionsproducedtosupporttheeconomicactivity.Thecalculationofborder-crossingfrequenciesofcarbonfootprintisaccomplishedbydecomposingtheLeontiefinversemat

4、rixderivedfromtheworldinput-outputdatabase・Wefindthattheaggregatedaveragebordercrossingfrequenciesofcarbonfootprintsshowanincreasingtendency,whichisinfluencedbytheeconomiccrisisobviously.ThepolicyapplicationfocusesontheUnitedStates,whichweassumetolevycarbontariffsonforeign

5、emissionsembodiedinimports.Wefindthattheindirectcarbontariffonemissionsembodiedininternationaltradetakeasignificantshare.ThebordercarbonadjustmentsaremainlytargetedatemissionsgeneratedinChina,whichalsopaysthegreatestshareofthetariffburden.Theimplicationofcarbontariffsfaces
