3、coloredwastewaterwasinvestigated.ThecharacteristicsoftheadsorbentwerestudiedusingFouriertransforminfrared(FTIR)andscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM).DirectRed80(DR80),DirectRed81(DR81)andReactiveRed180(RR180)wereusedasanionicdyes.TheeffectsofpH,contacttime,adsor

4、bentdosageandinitialdyeconcentrationondyeremovalwerestudied.Thekineticsandisothermofdyeremovalfollowspseudo-secondorderkineticsandtheLangmuirisotherm,respectively.Desorptionstudiesshowedthatadsorbentcouldberecoveredandregenerated.TheresultsshowthatPVA-chitosa
