4、twerestudiedinabatchsystemwithrespecttochangesininitialconcentrationoffluoride,equilibriumpHofsamplesolution,adsorbentdosageandco-existingions.Equilibriumadsorptiondatawereobtainedat295.6,303and313K,andareinterpretedintermsoftwo-siteLangmuir,Freundlich,LangmuirFreundlich,Redlic
5、hPeterson,Toth´andDubininRadushkevitchisothermmodels.Theexperimentalandequilibriummodelingresultsrevealedthatthecapacityofschwertmanniteforfluorideishighbutinsensitivetochangesinsolutiontemperature.AnincreaseinequilibriumpHofsamplesolutionreducedsignificantlythefluorideremovaleffi
6、ciency.Inbinarycomponentsystems,inner-spherecomplexformingspecieshadnegativeeffectsonfluorideadsorptionwhileouter-spherecomplexformingspeciesimprovedslightlythefluorideremovalefficiency.Theschwertmanniteadsorbentwasregenerableandhadtheabilitytolowerthefluorideconcentrationtoaccept
