3、care,weargue(1)thatfeministperspectiveshaveprovidedkeydevelopmentsforthinkingaboutcare,and(2)thatcareresearchmusttakeplaceseriouslytoallowforbothspecificityandcomplexityofapproachestotherelationshipsofgender,careand‘northern’places.Wethenbrieflyintroducethespecialissuecontributionswh

4、ichaddresstheseeponymousconcerns,suggestingthiscollectionisanopportunityforunfoldingdialoguesabouttheintersectionsofgender,careand‘thenorth’.Wehopethediversityoftheworkthatfollowsdemonstratestherangeofpossibilitiesforfeministapproachestocareandplaceandfurthersthenecessarycross-disc
