3、eenmadetowardunderstandingtheeffectsofrelationshipsondevelopmentandbehaviorandtheprocessesbywhichrelationshipsexerttheirinfluenceonthese,withthepurposeofhighlightingimportantquestionsthatremaintobeanswered,controversialissuesthatneedtoberesolved,andpotentiallyprofitablepathsforfutu
4、reinquiry.Theauthors'thesisisthatimportantadvancesinpsycho-logicalknowledgewillbeachievedfromconcertedinvestigationoftherelationshipcontextinwhichmostimportanthumanbehaviorsaredevelopedanddisplayed.Becauseinterpersonalrelationshipsarethefoundationandrelationshipcontextinwhichtheind
5、ividualisembedded.Inad-themeofhumanlife,mosthumanbehaviortakesplaceinthedition,becauserelationshipexperiencesoftenchangetheindivid-contextoftheindividual'srelationshipswithothers.Psychologistsual'smental,physical,andspiritualproperties,relationshipsinflu-activelyparticipatinginthem
6、ultidisciplinaryefforttodevelopaencehisorherdevelopmentalcourse.Moreover,asaconsequencescienceofrelationships(Berscheid,1999)aredoingsobecauseofchangingtheindividual'sproperties,relationshipspastandtheybelievethatthehuman'somnipresentrelationshipcontextpresentalsoinfluencetheindivi
