2、anicdisorderwasformallyrecognizedasadis-empiricallyvalidatedcognitive-behavioraltreatmentforcreteentityinDSM-III,ithasbecomeoneofthepanicdisorder.Initiallydevelopedforthetreatmentofmostintensivelystudiedanxietydisorders.Bydefinition,panicdisorderwithlimitedagoraphobicavoidance,panicdisor
3、dercausessignificantdistressorinterferencewiththeindividual’slife,exactingsubstantialpersonalPCTmorerecentlyhasbeenfindingbroadercosts.Inaddition,thedisorderimposeshighdirectandapplications.Ithasbeenusedasanaidtoindirectcostsonthenationinmedicalresourcesusedforpharmacotherapydiscontinuat
4、ioninpanicdisorder;incare,treatment,andrehabilitationandinreducedorlostthetreatmentofpanicattacksassociatedwithother1productivity.disorderssuchasschizophrenia;and,incombinationAgrowingbodyofevidencesupportsboththeeffi-withasituationalexposurecomponent,inthecacyandeffectiveness(clinicalut
