3、entencesthatin-tocollecttheworld’semotionstohelppeoplebetterun-cludethewords“Ifeel”or“Iamfeeling”,aswellasthederstandthemselvesandothers.SinceAugust2005,Wegender,age,andlocationofthepeopleauthoringthosesen-FeelFinehasbeenharvestinghumanfeelingsfromalargetences.TheWeFe

4、elFinesearchinterfaceallowsuserstonumberofweblogs.Everyfewminutes,thesystemsearchessearchorbrowseovertheresultingsentence-levelindex,ask-theworld’snewlypostedblogentriesforoccurrencesoftheingquestionssuchas“HowdidyoungpeopleinOhiofeelphrases“Ifeel”and“Iamfeeling”.When

5、itfindssuchawhenObamawaselected?”Whilemostresearchinsenti-phrase,itrecordsthefullsentenceandidentifiesthe“feel-mentanalysisfocusesonalgorithmsforextractionandclas-ing”expressedinthatsentence(e.g.sad,happy,depressed,sificationofsentimentaboutgiventopics,wefocusinsteadetc.

6、).Becauseblogsarestructuredinlargelystandardways,onbuildinganinterfacethatprovidesanengagingmeansoftheage,gender,andlocationoftheauthorcanoftenbeex-qualitativeexplorationofemotionaldata,andaflexibledatatractedandsavedalongwiththesentence.Theresultisacollectionandservin

7、garchitecturethatenablesanecosys-databaseofseveralmillionfeelings,increasingby10,000-temofdataanalysisapplications.Weuseourobservations15,000newfeelingsperday.Usingaseriesofplayfulin-ontheusageofWeFeelFinetosuggestaclassofvisual-terfaces,thefeelingscanbesearchedandsor
