6、ximationinthemeridionalplane(AbboandSloan,1995),describesayieldsurfacethatisC2continuousatallstressstates.ThenewsmoothyieldsurfacecanbemadetoapproximatetheMohr–Coulombyieldfunctionascloselyasrequiredbyadjustingonlytwoparameters,andissuitableforconsistenttange
