3、amethodofsurface®tting.Intheinputcompilationproblem,theregionssurfaceapproximationtocross-sectionswithmultiplebranch-ofinterest(ortheircontours)mustbeextractedfromcross-ingproblems.Inthismethod,we®rstdecomposeeachmultiplesectionalimagesandcompressedintoasimplerformthatcanbranchi
4、ngproblemintoasetofsinglebranchingproblemsbybeeasilyhandledwithsmallstorage[2].Thisinputcompilationprovidingasetofintermediatecontoursusingdistancemaps.isatopicincomputervisionorimageprocessing.Thecorre-Foreachsinglebranchingregion,aprocedurethenperformsspondencedecisionproblem,
5、whichariseswhenevertherearetheskinningofcontourcurvesrepresentedbycubicB-splinemultiplecontoursinacross-section,istodeterminetopologicalcurvesonacommonknotvector,eachofwhichis®ttedtoitslinksorrelationsbetweenthecontoursonadjacentcross-contourpointswithinagivenaccuracy.Inordertoa
6、cquireasections[3±6].Anautomaticsolutionofthisproblemisverymorecompactrepresentationforthesurface,themethoddif®cultinitsgeneralform.Thesurface-®ttingproblemconsistsincludesanalgorithmforreducingthenumberofknotsintheofgeneratingasurfacethateitherinterpolatesorapproximatescommonkn
