4、ificialneuralnetworkshavealreadyshowntheirsuccessinfacerecognitionandsimilarcomplexpatternrecognitiontasks.However,amajordisadvantageofthetechniqueisthatitisextremelyslowduringtrainingforlargerclassesandhencenotsuitableforreal-timecomplexproblemssuchaspatternrecognition.This
5、isanattempttodevelopaparallelframeworkforthetrainingalgorithmofaperceptron.Inthispaper,twogeneralarchitecturesforaMultilayerPerceptron(MLP)havebeendemonstrated.ThefirstarchitectureisAll-Class-in-One-Network(ACON)wherealltheclassesareplacedinasinglenetworkandthesecondoneisOne
6、-Class-in-One-Network(OCON)whereanindividualsinglenetworkisresponsibleforeachandeveryclass.Capabilitiesofthesetwoarchitectureswerecomparedandverifiedinsolvinghumanfacerecognition,whichisacomplexpatternrecognitiontaskwhereseveralfactorsaffecttherecognitionperformancelikeposev
