3、illenableyoutomanageyourownnegotiationsacrossawiderangeofcontexts.Theunitwilldrawonresearchfindings,theoreticalframeworksandpracticalexperiencetodevelopastrategicapproachtonegotiation.Oneofthecentralthemeswillbeanexaminationoftherealnatureofcooperationinne
4、gotiation;anotherwillbetheimportanceofcreatinganegotiating‘script’toguidetheprocessthroughtoanagreement.Studentswillbeexpectedtoparticipateinanumberofnegotiationexercises(typicallybasedonactualnegotiations)andotherlearningtaskstogaininsightsintotheapplicat
5、ionoftheoryintopractice.Thistheoryintopracticeapproachwillencourageyoutodevelopastrategicratherthanreactiveperspectivetothechallengeofreachinganagreementthroughnegotiation.Anunderstandingofculturaldifferenceswillbeassumed;theunitwillexaminehowthesecultural
