2、ternalhealthcareutilizationwereinvestigatedinaprobabilitytilitywasobservedamongwomenwithhigherlevelsofau-sampleof300womeninVaranasi,India.Weexaminedthedetermi-tonomyinBangladesh(Balk1994)andinvariousregionsofnantsofwomen’sautonomyinthreeareas:controloverfinances,India(Jejeebhoy1984,1991;Vis

3、aria1993).Thisfindingisdecision-makingpower,andfreedomofmovement.Afterwecontrolforage,education,householdstructure,andotherfactors,womenattributedlargelytothepatternsoffamilyplanninguse.withclosertiestonatalkinweremorelikelytohavegreaterau-Higherratesofcontraceptiveprevalenceweredocumentedt

4、onomyineachofthesethreeareas.Furtheranalysesdemonstratedamongwomenwithgreaterinterpersonalcontrolinthatwomenwithgreaterfreedomofmovementobtainedhigherlev-Bangladesh(Khan1997;SchulerandHashemi1994),Indiaelsofantenatalcareandweremorelikelytousesafedeliverycare.(DharmalingamandMorgan1996),andN

5、epal(MorganandTheinfluenceofwomen’sautonomyontheuseofhealthcareap-Niraula1995).Lowerratesofchildmortalitywereobservedpearstobeasimportantasotherknowndeterminantssuchasedu-amongwomenwholivedinhouseholdstructuresaccordingcation.themmoreindependenceinMali(Castle1993)andJordan(Miles-DoanandBish

6、arat1990),andamongthosewithmoredecision-makingpowerinIndia(DasGupta1990).Thefemaledisadvantageinless-developedcountrieswithMuchlessresearchhasfocusedontherelationshipbe-regardtohealthandwell-beinghasbeendocumentedabun-tweenwomen’sstatusandtheuseofhealthservices,aproxi-dantly(Santow1995).The
