7、fHTsalineelicitstime-dependentbilaterallong-termmechanicalhyperalgesiaandheathypoalgesia,whichweremodulatedbydescendingfacilitatoryandinhibitorycontrols,respectively.Wehypothesizethatsupraspinalstructuresmayfunctiontodiscriminatebetweenafferentnoxiousinputsmedia
8、tedbyAδ-andC-fibres,eitherfacilitatingAδ-fibremediatedresponsesorinhibitingC-fibremediatedactivities.However,thisdiscriminativefunctionisphysiologicallysilentorinactive,
