2、htsandobligationsofworkersandemployers,labourstandards,theprinciplesoflabourutilizationandadministration;contributestotheupliftofproduction,andthereforeholdsanimportantplaceinsociallifeandinthelegalsystemofthenation.InheritinganddevelopingthelabourlegislationenactedinourcountrysincetheAug
3、ustRevolutionof1945,thepresentLabourCodeinstitutionalizesthepolicyofrenovationoftheCommunistPartyofVietnamandprovidesfordetailedimplementationoftheprovisionsofthe1992ConstitutionoftheSocialistRepublicofVietnamasregardslabour,labourutilizationandadministration.TheLabourCodeprotectstheright
4、towork,;interestsandotherrightsofworkersand,atthesametime,thelawful-rightsandinterestsofemployerstherebycreatingconditionsforaharmoniousandstablelabourrelationship.Itcontributestoreleasingthecreativenessandtalentofbothmanualandintellectualworkers,oflabourmanagers,withtheaimofachievingahig
5、hlevelofproductivityandqualityandsocialprogressinlabour,productionandservices,efficiencyintheuseandadministrationoflabour;andcontributestothe*industrializationandmodernizationofthecountry,fortheobjectiveofprosperouspeople,amightycountryandajust,democratic,civilizedsociety.ChapterIGENERALP
6、ROVISIONSArticle1ThepresentLabourCoderegulatesthelabourrelationshipbetweenthewageearningworkerandhisemployer,andthesocialrelationshipsdirectlyconnectedwiththislabourrelationship.Article2ThisCodeappliestoallworkers,andorganizationsorindividualsemployingworkersunderalabourcontractinallecono
7、micsectorsandallformsofownership.ThisCodealsoappliestotraineesandapprentices,domestichelps,andothercategoriesofworkersspecifiedinthisCode.Article3VietnamesecitizenswhoworkinenterpriseswithforeigninvestedcapitalinVietnam,inforeignorinternationalbodiesandorganizations
