4、ssuchascapacitorsandinductorsorconvertercontrolledFlexibleACTransmissionSystem(FACTS)devices.Untilnow,designsoftheinternalcontrollersofagenerator(voltageregulatorandgovernor)havetypicallyconsideredonlythegeneratorandignoredothercontrolleddevicesinthepowernetw
5、ork.Similarly,designersofFACTSdevicecontrollersconsideronlytheFACTSdeviceandignoreneighboringgeneratorcontrollersforexample.Synchronousgeneratorsaretraditionallycontrolledbyautomaticvoltageregulator(AVR)whichmaintainsthedesiredvoltageattheterminalsofthegenera
