3、niline,asanexample.Homogeneousnucleationofpolyanilineresultsinnanofibers,whileheterogeneousnucleationleadstogranularparticulates.Mechanicalagitation,whichisacommonmethodfordisruptingaggregates,insteaddramaticallytriggersaggregationduringthesyntheticprocessandfav

4、orstheformationofgranularparticulates.Correlatingtheshapeandaggregationofpolyanilinenanoparticleswiththemodeofnucleation,anewaggregationmechanismisproposedinwhichaggregationistriggeredbyheterogeneousnucleation.Themechanismmaybequitegeneralasindicatedbyexperiment

5、swithothermaterialssuchassilicananoparticles.Highlydispersiblepolyanilinenanofiberscannowbereproduciblypreparedfromaconventionalreactionsimplybynotmechanicallyagitatingthereactionandcarryingitoutatanelevatedtemperature.Thisworkmayprovetobeofgreatvalueinreproduci

6、blysynthesizingnanoparticleswithwell-controlledsizesandshapesandineffectivelypreventingaggregationinchemical,pharmaceutical,andmaterialsproductionprocesses.Introductionsynthesizingbulkpolyanilineisthechemicalpolymerizationofanilinewithanoxidant,ammoniumperoxydis

7、ulfate,inanAggregation,acommonyetcomplexphenomenonforsmallacidicaqueoussolution.Becausepolymerizationisanexother-particles,isproblematicintheproductionanduseofmanymicprocess,ithaslongbeenrecommendedthatthisreactionchemicalandpharmaceuticalproducts.Aggregationmak
