2、composingcollegestudents’Englishepistemologicalbeliefsquestionnaire,analysisofthestatusquo,discussingtherelationshipbetweenEnglishepistemologicalbeliefsandlearninganxiety.Usingaself-designedcollegestudentepistemologicalbeliefquestionnaire,theresearchinvestigat
3、edthedevelopmentfeature,gend%gradeandmajordifferencesof603collegestudents’epistemologicalbeliefs.Theepistemologicalbeliefquestionnaireconsistsof26items,4factors,suchaslearningobjectivemotivationalbelief,thenatureoflearningbeliefs,learningefficiencybeliefs.Inor
4、dertoexplorehowbeliefsinfluenceofanxiety,theresearchinvestigatedtherelationshipamongthestudentepistemologicalbeliefofEnglishandthelearninganxiety.Theresultsindicated:First,throughtheanalysisoftheempiricalresearch,students’epistemologicalbeliefsquestionnaireisv
5、erifiedagoodeffect,thesefactorsandideasmodelfittingisbetter.Thequestionnairehasgoodreliabilityandvalidity,anditCanbeusedtomeasurestudents’epistemologicalbeliefs.Second,onthewhole,students’epistemologicalbeliefsarepositive.Thoughstudentsfromdifferentcolleges,di
6、fferentmajors,differentgrades,theyhaveconsistentbeliefsonnatureandmethodsoflearning.Inthefourfactors,beliefsofstudents’Englishlearningpropertiesandmethodsscoredallaverageofthehighest,andself-efficacybeliefistheweakestamongthem.Third,thereissignificantgenderdif
