5、-nativeand(notna¨ıve)secondlanguage(L2)speechperceptionimplicitlyassumecontinuityinalistener’shabitsofperceptualattentiontoacousticcuesbothbeforeandafterL2instructionbegins.Inthisdissertationwearguethatwhiletheabilitytoattendtofamiliaracousticcuesmaynotchangeasalistenerbeg
