3、egeofEngineering.TheBiomedicalEngineering(BME)Departmentoccupiesthreestate-of-the-artresearchandeducationalfacilitiesontheUniversityofMichigan’sNorthCampus:theAnnandRobertH.LurieBiomedicalEngineeringBuilding,theCarlA.GerstackerBuilding,andtheBonisteelInterdisciplinaryResearchBu
4、ildinghousingthefMRICenter.ThegeneroussupportofTheAnnandRobertH.LurieFoundation,TheWhitakerFoundationandTheRollinM.GerstackerFoundationhasallowedU-MBMEtogrowenormously,withnewfaculty,facilities,students,anddegreeprograms.TheBMEDepartmentcontinuestofostercollaborationsamongColle
5、geofEngineeringfacultyandresearchersthroughouttheUniversity.AsaWallaceH.CoulterFoundationTranslationalResearchPartner,thedepartmentisabletostrategicallyenhanceourabilitytopromote,developandrealizethepotentialofclinicalresearch.CommercializationofnewBMEtechnologiesisenhancedbyac
