6、dthetanslationofpublicsignsbecomeextremelyimportant.Thisthesis,basedontheformerstudiesonthisaspect,undertheguidanceofNida'sfunctionalequivalencetheory,conductssystematicandcomprehensivestudyonthetranslationofpublicsigns.Thethesisstartsbyintroducingthebasic

7、knowledgeofpublicsigns,includingthedefinition,functionandthenillustratesthelinguisticcharacteristicsofpublicsigns.ThencomestheintroductiontoNida'sfunctionalequivalence.TheauthorillustratesthedevelopmentofF-E,therelationshipbetweenF-Eandpublicsignstranslati
