1、摘要公示语在人们的生活中起着非常重要的作用，也是国际交流中必不可缺的部分。他们主要用来向人们传达有用的信息和规范大众的行为。宁夏旅游景点和宾馆的公示语很好地为国人提供-TJJ艮务。但是公示语的英译却不能令人满意。本论文正是以此为依据，从奈达的功能对等理论视角，对宁夏旅游景点和宾馆的公示语翻译进行理论和实践上的探讨。由于公示语具有独特的功能和特点，在翻译公示语的时候需要遵循一定的原则和采用相应的方法。本论文作者在对所收集的材料进行分析之后，发现翻译公示语时没有使用恰当的翻译策略是导致翻译中出现错误的主要原因。作者认为奈达的功能对等理论可以做为公示语翻译的基础性指导理论。在功能对等理论的指

2、导下，作者归纳了一些翻译原则和方法来分析宁夏旅游景点和酒店公示语翻译错误，这些原则和方法也可以看做是公示语翻译的原则和方法。在翻译公示语时，译者应遵循以下原则：功能优先、简洁、读者反应和委婉的语言。所使用的翻译方法有直译法、借用法、重构法、音译法和删除法。宁夏旅游景点和酒店的公示语翻译错误范围很广，又具有典型性。这些错误既有语言上的，也有文化层面的。语言上的错误主要表现在词汇、句法、语用和语体层面上。文化上的错误则是由于译者对中英两种文化的误解造成的。通过对这些错误进行分析，作者指出了导致这些错误的原因并提出了自己的译文以供参考。对比分析各种错误，作者得出结论认为功能对等理论在指导公示
