2、ellectualframeworkandconceptualbackgroundtothepracticeoftranslation.COURSEOVERVIEWThecourseintroducesgeneralprinciplesoftranslationandconsolidatestheprinciplesthroughtranslationpractice.Thefocuswillbeonthetext-basedapproachtotranslation.Studentswilllearnbasictechniquesofprofessio
3、naltranslatingandhowtoanalysetextsandtranslations.Theywillhavesufficientopportunitiestopractise,includingin-classworkshops,groupandindividualassignments.Theywillalsodoreadingsontheirownandreturntotutorialsfordiscussions.LEARNINGOUTCOMESIntroduction:optional(maximumlength:50wordsi
