2、Thephysicochemicalproperties,suchascriticalmicelleconcentration(cmc),surfacetensionatcmc(γcmc),andsurfaceactivityparametersofthemixturesofanewaminoacid-basedzwitterionicsurfactant,N-(n-dodecyl-2-aminoethanoyl)-glycine(C12Gly)andananionicsurfactant,sodiumdodecylsulfate(
3、SDS)atdifferentmolarfractions,X1(=[C12Gly]/([C12Gly]þ[SDS]))ofC12Glywerestudied.AsynergisticinteractionwasobservedbetweenthesurfactantsinmixturesofdifferentX1.Theself-organizationofthemixturesatdifferentmolarfractions,concentrations,andpHwasinvestigated.Fluorescencedepola
4、rizationstudiesincombinationwithdynamiclightscattering,andtransmissionelectronmicroscopicandconfocalfluorescencemicroscopicimagessuggestedtheformationofbilayervesiclesindilutesolutionsofSDSrichmixtureswithX1e0.17inthepHrange7.0to9.0.However,theelectronicmicrographsshowe
5、dstructureswithfingerprint-liketextureinmoderatelydilutetoconcentratedC12Gly/SDSmixtureatX1=0.50.ThevesicleswereobservedtotransformintosmallmicellesuponloweringthesolutionpHanduponincreaseoftotalsurfactantconcentrationinmixtureswithX1e0.17.However,decreaseofSDScontenttr
