4、haffectplantgrowthanddevelopment,butthesignallingpathwaysregulatingtheseprocessesarestillobscure.MicroRNAsfunctiontosilencegeneexpression,andenvironmentalstressescanaltertheirexpressions.Hereweidentify,usingthesmallRNA-sequencingmethod,microRNAsthatchangesignificantlyinexpressionbyeitherdoublingthe
5、atmosphericCO2concentrationorbyincreasingtem-perature3–6°C.Notably,nearlyallCO2-influencedmicroRNAsareaffectedinverselybyelevatedtemperature.UsingtheRNA-sequencingmethod,wedeterminestronglycorrelatedexpressionchangesbetweenmiR156/157andmiR172,andtheirtargettranscriptionfactorsunderelevatedCO2concen
6、tration.SimilarcorrelationsarealsofoundformicroRNAsactinginauxin-signalling,stressresponsesandpotentialcellwallcarbohydratesynthesis.OurresultsdemonstratethatbothCO2andtemperaturealtermicroRNAexpressiontoaffectArabidopsisgrowthanddevelopment,andmiR156/157-andmiR172-regulatedtranscriptionalnetworkm
