4、creasedwithincreasingsaltconcentrations.ExperimentsshowedthatwhenAvailableonline4May2012granuleswerenotpre-incubatedinasolutionwithincreasedsaltconcentration,theyinitiallyfloated.ThetimedependentincreaseinmassandhenceinsettlingspeedofKeywords:agranuleduetosaltdiffusionintothegranulewasd
5、ependentonthegranulediameter.GranularsludgeThetimeneededforfullsaltequilibriumwiththebulkliquidtook1minforsmallparticlesSettlingvelocityfromthetopofthesludgebedandupto30minforbiggranulesfromthebottomoftheSaltsludgebed.TheseresultssuggestthattemperatureandsaltconcentrationareimportantTe
