3、paredwithecosystemrespiration(Reco)asmeasuredbyasurfacefluxchamber.TheeffluxwasmostlylowerthantheRcurrentlyatecovalues,aswouldbeexpected.CalculatedCODep.ofSoil,Water,and2productionforthegrowingseasonwasdominatedbythe7.5-to15-cmdepth(43gCm−2),comparedwiththe0-to7.5-cmEnviro
4、nmentalSciencedepth(17gCm−2)andthe15-to25-cmdepth(9gCm−2).TherelativelyShantzBuilding#38Univ.ofArizonahighproductionatthe7.5-to15-cmdepthwasattributedtothefine-Tucson,AZ85721texturedsoilatthisdepth,resultinginhighersurfacearea,highersoilwaterretention,andpossiblymorefavora
