3、arnersandtheinformationisateveryone’sfingertips,therolesoftraditionalgurusareexpectedtobechangedandtransformed.ThepurposeofthisstudyistostudythechangingrolesofuniversityEnglishteachersfrombeinglanguageteacherstobeinglearners,facilitatorsandresearchersandtoidentifythesenewroles.Inordertounderstandthe
4、roletransformationwhetheritisfeasibleandrealistic,itisimperativetostudythemanyrolesofuniversityEnglishteachersdefinedbytheteachersandtheuniversityadministrators.ThefindingssuggestthatbyunderstandingthemanyrolesofuniversityEnglishteachers,universityEnglishteachersareabletoembracetheirnewroles.IndexTe
