1、AbstractWiththechangingoperationalenvironment,moreandmorecompaniesstartthinkhowtoincreasetheircompetitivenessintermsofhighquality,gooddeliveryandreducingmanufacturingcostbytheeliminationofwasteandhighproductionefficiency.Thebasicprincipleofleanproductionistotimelysatisfytheexactdem

2、andofthecustomerswithproductsinhighqualityandlowprice.Therefore,asoneofeffectivemethods,leanproductionisbeingadoptedbymanycompaniestoachievetheirgoalsofincreasingtheirprofitabilityandcompetivenessintheend.Theimplementationofleanproductionisnoteasyanditneedsmanytoolscombinedtoachiev

3、esuchgoals.TotalProductiveMaintenance(TPM)isoneofeffectivetoolsofleanproductiontomakesureoveralleffectiveness,especiallyfortheenterpriseswithhighdependencyonthemachinesandequipments.Oncemachinesandequipmentsarebreakdownintheproduction,thebiglossisunavoidableandunimagable.Therefore,

4、machinesrunalwaysingoodconditionwithoutanyfailuresduringproduction,whichisthebasicrequirementtoachieveleanproduction.Anditispreventiveandpredictivetomaintainthemachinesandequipments.Onlythiscanwemakemachinesfullyutilizedasapossibleresultofproductswithhighquality,gooddeliveryandlowc

5、ost.ThispaperistostudyononenewTPMmodewhichisoriginatedfromthetrueobjectiveofleanproductiontoachieveandandcombinesitselfwithpractice.ThisnewTPMmodeinnovatedtheeightactivitiesoftraditionalTPMandeffectivelyassociatedwithleanproduction.ThecontentofnewTPMmodecanbeeasilyrecognizedanditsi

6、mplementationisgraduallyconductedandemphaticallycontinuingimprovement,takingpriorityonfourpillarsaseliminatingmainproblems,automaticmaintenance,planedmaintenanceandmachinesdesigninaccordancewithTPM’srequirement.Itssuccessfulimplementationontheproductionpaintinglinesignificantlyimpr
