4、ct:ThepaperproposesmethodologicalbasesforcomparisonofthestructureoftheoriesintheNatural,Life,Social,andHumanSciences.Theideaisthatinordertostudythisproblem,theontologicalandepistemologicalpeculiaritiesofthesefourmajorclassesofdisciplinesshouldbeconsidered.Theanalysi
5、softhenatureoftheobjectandtheconceptofscienceisaprerequisiteforstatingtheproblemofcomparisoncorrectly.ThenatureoftheobjectandtheconceptofscienceintheNaturalSciencesarefosteringRationalisticworldviewandaMertonianapproachtothestructureoftheory,whileintheHumanSciencest
6、herearegroundsfordevelopinganinterpretativeorientation,andametaphoricuseoftheterm.Socialscientistsappeartobedeeplydividedaboutwhichwaytogo.Thismethodological"tragedy"isduetothedualnatureoftheobjectsoftheirscience.Whilelarge-scalesocialphenomena,suchassocialinstituti
