1、中文摘要清代是台湾儒学教育的发展期，经过二百多年的培育，台湾的官学、书院、乡学逐步创建，儒学教育机构遍布台湾各地，被称为“东道之传"的朱子学成为此期间的主流思想。清政府通过儒学教育，逐步淡化反清复明思想，提高民众文化素质，缓和满族统治者和广大汉族人民的矛盾，推动了清代台湾社会的发展。鸦片战争以后，中国抵抗列强的侵略成为社会的主要矛盾，儒学中的经世致用思想得到复兴并与程朱理学融合，通过儒学教育，成为台湾人民建设台湾反抗侵略的思想武器，对台湾的近代化产生了深远的影响。本文在努力占有史料的基础上，系统梳理清代台湾各类学校和书院的创置，沿革以及相关的管理体系
