3、sticsisnolongerconfinedtothestudyoflanguageitself;instead,ithasbroadeneditshorizonsintothecontextandcommunicationfunctionoflanguage.Translationstudieswiththemethodologyoftextlinguisticsholdthattheunitoftranslationisthetextincontext,ratherthanspecificwordsorsentences.Taking
4、textastheunitoftranslationdoesnotmeanthattranslatorscanneglectwordsandsentencesorthattranslationpracticeoneverylevelshouldbecarriedoutwithregardtoahigherlevel.Rather,itistheentiretextwherethetranslationstrategyiscarriedoutandthequalityoftranslationisgivenaverdict.Fromthepe
5、rspectiveoftextlinguistics,thisthesisstudiesthetexttypeinRussianandChineseandthetranslationpracticebasedontexttype.Texttranslationrequirestextclassification.Texttypeisdirectlyrelatedtothecontentandtheformoftext;tosomeextent,texttypedecideswhichtranslationstrategytochoose.I
