3、somadeconnectionswiththesupposedlycorruptingeffemi-nacyofthe“degenerate”intellectual,withthetrialsofOscarWildeasthemainfocus.ThepapergoesontoexploreWilde’sengagementwiththeconceptofin-fluenceacrossawiderangeofhiswritings,inthecourseofwhichhedevelopedanalternativec
