2、tsclinicalapplicationofrhPTH(1-34)inthefieldofDO.MaterialandMethods:8big-earedJapaneseRabbits(nosexlimit,weightsabout2.0-2.5Kg)wereselectedasexperimentalanimals,whichwererandomlydividedintothecontrolgroup,therhPTH(1-34)12.5μg/kggroup,therhPTH(1-34)25μg/kggroup,andtherhPTH
3、(1-34)50μg/kggroup,withtenrabbitsineachgroup.Theirpartsaheadnexttopremolarteethandmentalforamenareaontherightsideofthemandibularswereslitedinordertoestablishunilateralmandibulardistractionosteogenesismodels.Distractionwasstartedoneweekaftersurgeryattherateof0.4mm/12h,whic
4、hcontinuedfor10days,extendingmandibularby8.0mmandfollowedbyfixedperiod.ThecorrespondingdoseofrhPTH(1-34),dissolvedin2%heatinactivatedstandardrabbitserum1ml,wasgivenateighteverydayviasubcutaneousinjectiontotheexperimentalgroupsfromthedistractionperiodtilltherabbits’deathwh
5、liethecontrolgroupwasonlygiven2%heatinactivatedstandardrabbitserum1mlatthesametimeeveryday.Fiverabbitsfromeachgroupwereexecutedatthefirstweekandthirdweekinfixedperiodrespectively.Thenthenewbonesindistractionregionwereselectedasthespecimens.Thegeneralobservation,histologyo
